Hand Pulled Prints - Pet Portraits & Other Animal Art Hand Pulled Prints

Besides portraits and paintings, I've been creating woodcarved prints of animals!  What's a woodcut print?  It's the most ancient form of printing.  I carve out an image backwards, roll ink over the top, press a piece of paper on it with a baren ...and...there it is!  It's like magic and I am constantly thinking of what to carve and print next.

For a more detailed demo, click here!  I am honored that my demonstration appears on the American Artist Magazine's online art forum.

My woodcut print, "Goin' Mobile" is in the print archive collection of The University of Kentucky Museum of Art in Lexington, Kentucky.

All of my prints are open editions and each one is a little different from the other because of the variables of hand printing!  So each one is considered an original work of art.  I will sign, title and number each one in pencil on the bottom of the print.  I'll add more as I create more, so stop by often.  Each image's edition will close when the carved pine plate begins to wear.  Interested in purchasing?  Small prints start at only $15 and fit into standard sized mats and frames, great for original, one of a kind gift giving...or treat yourself!  All for sale at http://robinzebley.etsy.com.  Or email me at RobinZebleyArtist@gmail.com .
